In line with effort to wrestle power for the opposition NDC in klottey Korle with Election 2020 fast approaching, the Klottey Korle Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic party (NPP) is poised to rescue power from the NDC's Member of Parliament as well as increase the number of votes for H.E. President Nana Addo to continue the good works.
He mentioned that the Constituency has outdoored its 2020 campaign team in a swearing- in ceremony in
Accra over the weekend.
According to him, the team is headed by a triangular Executives, made up of the
Parliamentary Candidate,
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Officer and the Constituency Chairman of the party with the rest having been selected from within the Constituency
Executives amongst others.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 2020 NPP campaign Team the Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Klottey Korle Constituency, Mr. Prince Appiah Debrah disclosed that for more than 16 years of the NDC being in control of the area by means of representing the people in Parliament, the Constituency has no tangible developmental infrastructure to derive benefit
from.
This abysmal performance displayed by the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) of
the area and the NDC party in general, according to Mr. Debrah, doesn't warrant another term for the incumbent but rather a massive vote for some one who has the Constituency at heart and would do everything possible to ensure the Klottey Korle Constituency experiences an unprecedented development.
He also advised the just sworn-in campaign team members to embark on a purposeful
retailing campaign by moving from house to house to spread, propagate and explain the good works undertaken by the government within its first term in office. Mr. Debrah however reminded the members to undertake the campaign whiles ensuring a strict adherence to all the protocols prescribed by the government as regards the containment and prevention of the spread of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic that has taken the world by surprise.
Mr. Debrah also made a passionate Appeal to Delegates, Members, Foot soldiers and Activists of the NPP to join the campaign caravan in canvassing votes for the party in both the parliamentary and presidential Elections in order for Klottey Korle to be developed to the status it deserves.
He urged them to own the campaign by explaining the good policies implemented and work done so far by the Nana Addo led government ever since the NPP took over power as being the reason for the good people of the Klottey Korle Constituency as well as the entire constituents of the republic to vote massively to retain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in power.
"We shall win the Klottey Korle Parliamentary seat for NPP and present it as our special Christmas gift for president Nana Addo", Mr Debrah assured.
Meanwhile in a debate with the incumbent which was organize by the Multi-Media Group such as Adom Fm & TV, Joy News and Joy FM, Mr Debrah stated emphatically that he was the one who went and lobby for all the projects going on in the constituency namely; OSU Sallem Road network and inner lanes and other social amenities.
