HON. SALIFU SA-EED CUT SOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTEGRATED RECYCLING AND COMPOST PLANT AT GBALAHI, TAMALE.

Yesterday, 29th November, 2020, Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Salifu Sa-eed delivered an address on behalf of His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  on the occasion of the sod cutting ceremony for the Integrated Recycling and Compost Plant (Northern Solid and Liquid Waste Treatment Facility) at Ghalahi, Tamale. 




He explained that, the plant is expected to effectively and efficiently manage municipal solid waste in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way. It will also produce organic compost for Horticultural production and government’s flagship Programme of planting for food and jobs. 





He appealed to the chiefs and people of Gbalahi and its catchment area to cooperate with the company to deliver the project.





With him was the Mayor of Tamale, Iddrisu Musah Superior, NPP Regional Chairman, Mohammed Bantima Samba Chief Operating Officer of Zoomlion Ghana, MMDCEs etc.
