*308 PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS LIFE MAYBE IN DANGER FOR ATTENDING GNACOPS CCP MASTER TRAINING WORKSHOP*

GNACOPS CCP Master Training workshop must be ceased

NCOPST wishes to inform the department of social welfare and Labour Commission of the lack of provision of  safety, security, health and welfare for the Selected 308 private school teachers for GNACOPS CCP Master Training workshop which is scheduled to take place at Atomic Energy, Accra  from 11th to 15th January, 2020

GNACOPS has inviting all the 308 private teachers from all the regions of Ghana without hardcopy invitation letter.

GNACOPS instead of making provision for the trainees safety, security, health and welfare due to involvement of traveling has asked these private Teachers who have not been paid for the past 10 months to foot their transportation from various regions of Ghana to Accra for the CCP workshop. 

The National Council of Private School Teachers (NCOPST) priority is to seek the well-being of all private school teachers in Ghana. We call on labour Commission, department of social welfare and all stakeholders to stop GNACOPS from organizing the CCP workshop until proper negotiations are put in place

Information reaching us shows that GNACOPS has changed the date to 13th - 17th January 2021
