 Story Reported by Samuel Amon

A former Member of Parliament for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak has called on the leadership of the opposition NDC to immediately change the face of the leadership of the Minority in Parliament.

The dethroned MP and youth activist, in an interview with Kofi Adoma Nwanwani on his KofiTV, has said that the Haruna Iddrisu-led Minority must be overhauled with immediate effect since they have failed to live up to expectations.

"Bro Kofi, at this juncture, the best thing for the party to do is to change the entire leadership of the Minority. The hiccups have become one too many. Look, Muntaka Mubarak is my direct uncle but their leadership style is injurious to the future survival of the party" he emphasized.

His call comes on the heels of the confusion that has engulfed the party in Parliament, leading to the unfortunate resignation of Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

The leadership of the Minority has come under intense criticisms from the party's rank and file following the approvals of the ministerial nominees of President Akufo-Addo.

Members of the opposition NDC, including the party's head of communications, have had the occasion to lambast Haruna Iddrisu, Muntaka Mubarak, and the Speaker of Parliament for betraying the party.

Ras Mubarak's call on the party to boot out the leadership in Parliament comes at a time the party is in turmoil.
