EQUIP TEACHERS WITH THE NECESSARY LOGISTICS......GNAT FUMES AT GOVERNMENT

Mr.Thomas Musah Tanko who is the general secretary of Ghana National Association of Teachers  (GNAT) has lamented about three things which teachers and students lacks in their studies.


Mr. Thomas Musah Tanko added that we have to throw more emphasis on our environmental, it's will be very tantalize if a teacher with good environment to enhance teaching. Another thing he mentioned was proper equipment for teacher to be used in the classrooms especially during practicals.


He Lamented that it is very sad when get into class and meet a teacher drawing computer on the board for illustration in which now in America they have graduate from one side to  another.


He further said that the standard of living of the teacher are very bad.


He said can a teacher retired with two bedroom and how sad it is for a retired teacher to go home  without  even having a single room 


He moreover landed on some allowance of the teacher.such as the transfer allowance, car maintiance allows and grand allowance.


We  concluded with the government about this  since 2009 and no single teacher have received such allowance. 


He therefore tasked government to take teachers serious as International TEACHERS DAY WAS celebrated.
