THE NGSJF IS CALLING FOR THE RESIGNATION OF MS. BENONITA BISMARCK

The New Ghana Social Justice Forum(NGSJF), is calling for The Chief Executive Officer (CE0),of the   Ghana Shippers Authority, Ms. Benonita Bismarck, to resign from her position with immediate effect for fraudulently awarding the owner of Labianca company Limited Ms. Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh. 

      The Senior Policy Analyst for the New Ghana Social Justice Forum (NGSJF), Mr Abdallah A. Musah, has described the award given to Labianca company Limited as what he called, an illegal desecration of the award industry in Ghana. 

       Speaking in a workshop held in Accra on Friday, themed; “Promoting Local Poultry Farming-to end importation of growable and rearable agricultural products in Ghana”, Mr Abdalla described the importation of frozen foods as a weaponization to collapse poultry industry in Ghana. 

       “To award an individual that imports what he referred as poisonous frozen foods to Ghanaians is not right; cannot be right; and cannot be justified”, he stressed. He said, it is a conspired and fraudulent award, to further weaken the falling of poultry and livestock farming in Ghana, and a gross lack of leadership on the part of The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Shippers Authority, Ms. Benonita Bismarck.

         He added, the importation of frozen foods costs Ghana $3.BN yearly, thereby creating jobs for the Youth of the imported country. “Importing frozen foods, is giving employment to foreign Nationals.

        Therefore, any initiative to encourage importation, is not only a national misconduct, but an unpardonable scandal against employment for the citizenry. We can’t deny the fact that political figures, like that of Ms. Benonita Bismarck, The CEO of Ghana Shippers Authority own the big frozen imported companies. .
