President of Ghana Rowing and Canoe Association Mr Kevin Adarkwah
The Ghana Rowing and Canoe Association has organised a national seminar and national indoor rowing championship for life savers in Accra.
Speaking with the media, a board member and medical practitioner, Dr.Theophilous Armah said some people taught because they're good swimmer so they can easily save life which they got it all wrong.
He narrated the been a very good swimmer that's not means they can save life.
The life saving is a different expertise all together so he advise to take note of it.
According to him, there are three main things need to know one checking the lung, the cardio and 30 chest pump.
He advised that if they do the checking on the lung, cardio and 30 chest pump and the person doesn't response means that he/she cannot survive.
Meanwhile the President of Ghana Rowing and Canoe Association Mr Kevin Adarkwah appealed to the government of Ghana to pay a bite of attention to the swimming activities.
