At a joyous occasion by the indigenes of Ofankor a suburb of Ga North in the Greater Accra Ghana.
Sprinkling the Homowo festival food as customs clearance by the ancestors of the people of Ga state called “Kpokpoi”, Nii Kotey Boi II hinted that the annual festival is to preaching peace and unity at wherever any chiefs found itself.
He call on traditional rulers especially the people of the Ga state to unit because Accra is becoming something else so need to come together as one family in ensuring coexistence of the Ga state.
He call on parents to take education brings developments to the people of Ofankor and also award scheme for best students in community.
Nii Boi II urge teachers to constitute sanitation education in their various school because cleanliness is for good health and development.
According to him, he thank God for making the celebration successful.
He appealed to the people of Ga State to foster unity among themselves for the progressiveness of the GaDangme community.
Notwithstanding that doe this due to the Covid-19 pandemic the normal way of celebrating the Homowo festival was not upheld because we're not in a normal times and also call on his people to observe the WHO protocols as been directed by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa.
